• Address that you will be residing at
• Full name that is on file with the leasing office

Resident Parking FAQs

How do I register my vehicle?

What if I am not bringing a vehicle. Do I still need to register myself in the parking portal?

Yes. Even if you are not bringing a vehicle, you will still need to register for the parking portal. This will allow you access to Guest Parking passes. Registration is still required for every resident even if you don’t have a vehicle. The fee is $35.00 to register with Meadows Crossing.

I am driving a rental vehicle- do I still need to register it?

Yes. If you bring a rental vehicle on the property, a valid blue temporary resident parking pass must be visible and properly displayed.
Call the Leasing Office to register a temporary vehicle and to pick up a blue temporary resident parking pass. We will add a temporary vehicle registration to your profile at www.MyVipParking.com.

My vehicle is in the shop, and I am borrowing a vehicle- do I need to register it?

Yes. If your vehicle is in the shop for repairs and you are borrowing an unregistered vehicle, it must display a valid blue temporary resident parking pass for the duration of the time the vehicle is on the property.

Call the Leasing Office to register a temporary vehicle and to pick up a blue temporary resident parking pass. We will add a temporary vehicle registration to your profile at www.MyVipParking.com.

I bought a new vehicle- what do I do now?

If you replace your vehicle with a different vehicle, you must immediately report the new change to the Leasing Office at leasing@meadowscrossing.net. One free replacement pass will be allotted per resident through the lease expiration date, beyond that an additional registration fee of $35.00 will apply.

Lost or stolen parking pass

Report lost or stolen passes to the Leasing Office at leasing@meadowscrossing.net immediately. The lost or stolen pass becomes invalid, and a new parking pass is issued. Subsequently, any vehicle found with an invalid pass that was previously reported as lost or stolen will be subject to a vehicle immobilization device. A $62.00 immobilization fee will apply. (subject to change)

My vehicle was in an accident. What do I do?

If you are borrowing or using a rental vehicle on the property, it must display a valid parking pass. Call the Leasing Office to register a temporary vehicle and to pick up a blue temporary resident parking pass.

We will add a temporary vehicle registration to your parking portal on My VIP Parking. If this occurs after-hours, log into your parking portal and register for a guest pass at www.R2Park.com until you can call the Leasing Office.

If the vehicle involved in the accident will no longer be used, report the pass as lost to the Leasing Office at leasing@meadowscrossing.net. You will need to register your new vehicle with Leasing Office. One free replacement will be given to each resident.

Can I transfer my parking pass to another vehicle?

Yes. Parking passes are transferrable. You will need to register you new vehicle information by going to MyVipParking.com to update your account.

Are there assigned parking spots at Meadows Crossing?

No. There are no assigned parking spots. All parking is available on a first-come, first- serve basis. Carports are reserved for residents only.

Guest Parking FAQs

How do I register a Guest vehicle?

After you have all the Guest vehicle’s information go to: www.R2Park.com or Meadows Crossing’s website and follow the prompts. Please reach out to the leasing office via phone or email to inquire about registering a guest and for the Community Guest Passcode.

What if I am not bringing a vehicle. Do I still need to register myself in the parking portal?

How much is a Guest Parking Pass?

Free. Meadows Crossing offers complimentary Guest parking to its residents but parking spaces are limited.

Where is Guest Parking available?

There is no reserved or designated Guest parking only. Any vehicle with a valid Resident Parking Pass or Guest Parking Pass, may park in any valid parking spot. Parking under carports are reserved for Residents only. *See rules for additional parking information.

I don’t have a printer. How do I print a Guest Parking Pass?

The Leasing Office/Clubhouse has a printer for you to use. If the printer is unavailable it is suggested to utilize the printer located at the on-campus library. Any technical issues or other errors are not an acceptable reason for not printing a pass. Handwritten passes are not accepted.

Why can’t I register a Guest’s vehicle?

The number of available Guest passes depends on the ratio of registered Resident vehicles in comparison to the total number of parking spaces within the property. If the number of Guest passes is equal to the available guest parking spaces no more passes will be allowed to be registered for.

How long is a Guest Parking Pass valid for?

24 hours from the time the vehicle was registered.

Parking Rules and Regulations

All vehicles must properly registered and display a visible parking pass.
Passes must be unobstructed and fully visible from the front of the vehicle.
Resident passes must adhere to the inside lower driver’s side windshield.
Guest passes must be printed and placed face up on the dashboard, visible and unobstructed.
Parking is allowed in “valid” parking spots indicated between two marked parallel lines.
Parking in Handicapped spots require a visible handicap plate, hanger, placard and a valid Meadows parking pass.
Tampering with immobilization devices may result in fines.
Hazardous parking is not allowed.
Residents must pay fines within 24 hours; failure may lead to immobilization and a fee.
Vehicles must comply with Michigan state law.
Exceptions need approval from Meadows Crossing within 48 hours.
No parking in “reserved” spots without prior authorization from Meadows Crossing Management.
Each Resident is permitted to have one operable vehicle registered.
No liability for theft or damage to vehicles on the premises.
No commercial vehicles, boats, trailers, campers, large trucks, or vans without consent from the Leasing Office.
No parking in non-designated areas such as; roadway, walkway, driveway, or any other area not specifically designated for parking.
Violations: REGISTERED VEHICLES
- 1st- Warning with 24 hours to resolve. (i.e. A parking pass is not adhered to the windshield)
- 2nd- A fine will be issued, must resolve within 24 hours, or face immobilization and a fee.
- 3rd or more- Vehicle immobilization with $62 fee will be added to vehicle. (removal fee increases $10/day, may be towed after 3 days).
Lost, damaged, or stolen passes: Report to the Leasing Office; invalid or “old” passes will be replaced with a new Resident Parking Permit.
Fake, forged, or altered passes result in immobilization.
Rentals, repairs, or replacements:
- Rental vehicles must have a valid guest pass.
- Borrowed unregistered vehicles must have a valid guest pass.
- Report any vehicle replacements in order to obtain a new parking pass. $20.00 registration fee applies.
Parking passes are valid only at the registered property you live at.
Parking Passes become invalid at move-out, eviction, or lease expiration.
Verbal rules or exceptions do not apply.
Meadows Crossing may revoke passes anytime.
Rules may be updated or amended by Landlord or Landlord’s Management.

Boot Removal

How do I get the vehicle immobilization (boot) device off my vehicle or my Guest’s vehicle?

Follow the instructions on the device and follow the prompts. A text message will be sent to if you with drop off locations. The device must be dropped off to one of the drop-off locations within 24 hours.

How do I dispute the validity of a vehicle immobilization device?

If you believe your vehicle has been wrongly or mistakenly immobilized, please reach out to Absolute Security by email at Allendaleparking@gmail.com. Please note the Security Officer or Dispatcher will not be authorized to give refunds or removals for free and will refer you to this email address.

What do I need to include in a vehicle immobilization device dispute email?

You must include:

The vehicle information (make, model, color, and license plate)
The date and time of the immobilization
What property the vehicle was located at
The reason for the dispute

Why did my vehicle receive an immobilization device?

There are several reasons why a vehicle can be immobilized. When a Security Officer arrives to remove the device, they should be able to explain why the device was placed on the vehicle. If the explanation given is found to be unsatisfactory you may contact Absolute Security at Allendaleparking@gmail.com. Please note the phone dispatcher will not be able to give any explanations or reasons.

Can the leasing office have the immobilization device removed?

No. Your property management and/or ownership has delegated all parking related issues and questions to Absolute Security.

Can I have the leasing office contact Absolute Security on my behalf?

No. Any questions, disputes or inquiries must be received directly from you.
