Meadows Crossing helps ease the anxiety of “letting go” by providing your student with home-away-from-home comforts.
At Meadows your student will enjoy their newfound independence while enjoying a homey environment without even needing a vehicle or leaving the complex! By offering several on-site amenities, they provide a one-stop footprint for your student to thrive. Need a good “home cooked” meal? Meadows offers two, on-site dining establishments – Mully’s, a full scale restaurant and bar, and coming soon, Cottage Inn Pizza (yes, the same franchise as in Ann Arbor!) for takeout or in-house dining.
Running low on groceries, household items or beverages? Hip Party Store is conveniently located near the property entrance and open hours to accommodate your child’s needs in short notice. Relax in the Hookah Lounge with friends or go it alone and meet others who share your interests.
Guys got a hot date or important interview and need a fresh haircut? Stop on over to Gentlemen’s Quarters for a haircut or full service treatment.
The fitness center is available so your student can stay healthy and in shape and burn off their stress – they can enter anytime 24/7 with their student access card for their convenience and safety. Outside activities are abundant as the complex offers a volleyball court, basketball court, pool and spa. They can enjoy these activities with their friends and neighbors. Several times throughout the year, Meadows also has organized activities for your student to take advantage of.
Your student and their friends can also hang out in the student lounge that offers a great sitting area, flat screen TV, pool table, and other games – a great place to relax and get out of the apartment but not even leave the property.
Meadows is also home to two (2) GVSU bus stops. Your student can hop on the bus right from the Meadows Crossing parking lot for no charge and get to classes on both the Allendale and downtown Grand Rapids campus. The free bus service runs days, nights and weekends through the campus and on Lake Michigan Drive between Allendale and downtown Grand Rapids offering stops for major grocery shopping, restaurants, downtown bar hopping, and many other options along the way.
A computer lab and printer are also available for student use in the main clubhouse as well as free tanning beds which can simply be scheduled online for convenience.
