If this is a problem that plagues you in your on-campus living space at GVSU, then you’re probably thinking about living off campus. There are a lot of choices and many things to take into consideration before making that leap.
There are bound to be other amenities you want as well. Maybe you’re tired of sharing a bathroom and cleaning up after others. And lugging your laundry off to the laundry facilities only to find that there are no open washers. You may have found that sharing a bedroom makes it hard to concentrate when you’ve got exams coming up because there is too much going on around you. If you’ve checked into on-campus housing where you can live alone, you have probably discovered that the price for that luxury is way beyond your means, so now you’re considering moving off campus.
There are many Allendale off-campus living options, one being the townhomes at Meadows Crossing, located across from the 48th Avenue campus entrance. Our townhomes were designed with students’ needs and comforts in mind, with two- or four-bedroom styles to choose from. Each bedroom is fit for one person, has a private bath, and is keyed for privacy. With generous closet space and walk-in closets available, raised beds for with storage space underneath, a night stand, and a chest of drawers, you have enough room for all of your things. A desk is also provided, and given that you’ll have the quiet and privacy to devote to your studies, you’ll be able to make good use of it!
Since each townhome is fully furnished, there is nothing you need other than your books, personal items, a few kitchen utensils, and yourself! Thinking about where you have to lug your laundry? Not to worry, there’s a washer and dryer in each unit. Combine all of this with reasonable pricing and your escape from a tiny space and a lack of privacy is yours for the taking.
Meadows Crossing offers much more to help keep you happy and healthy. Our additional amenities include a fitness center that is open 24/7 and a recreation center where you can enjoy a game of pool, ping pong, or foosball, or you can simply relax and watch a movie or TV show on one of the flat screen TVs. And after a good night’s sleep, the GVSU bus stop is adjacent to Meadows Crossing, which means just a few steps gets you a quick ride to your classes! The campus is the first stop after boarding at Meadows Crossing.
